I haven't seen purple corn around here. Only the regular cracked yellow variety.

I tried to find only purple corn for them but it does not exist, only the mix.

How long after hatching would Sydney start laying again? She is frantically looking for a nest this morning like a hen that needs to play an egg. She has essentially left the chicks on their own with me.

Thanks everyone! Super happy to finally have some good news to share on more than just the chicken front! Regarding corn... there’s this one store here that carries this stuff called “flatted corn” it’s like rolled oats but with corn. My friends chickens love it but mine are less enthusiastic about it. It’s kind of crumbly.
