Is there a tourism website or something I can look at to see what all there is to see and do?

This gives you a road trip plan but you would still need to research each individual stop. Toowoomba, for example, has a great flower festival about September but I've lived there & there really isn't all that much to do & see there though being rural there are good chicken hatcheries.

You will see 2 very different Australias depending whether you do coastal or outback. Both are interesting but hard to believe you're in the same country.

Even with my best mates pulling for me, there were far too many Aussies with similar skills to me. Although, one day if all the planets align and the stars are right, I might get to spend some time in Aus with our folks. They've already sent my boss two requests for me to come visit, but now just wouldn't work.

A few years ago, I tried really hard to get a job in Aus so I could spend a few years exploring. Sadly it didn't work out. Even with my best mates pulling for me, there were far too many Aussies with similar skills to me. Although, one day if all the planets align and the stars are right, I might get to spend some time in Aus with our folks. They've already sent my boss two requests for me to come visit, but now just wouldn't work.

I imagine you'd end up in either Sydney or Melbourne. Neither are good places to be just now.

I don't know. I wouldn't think so but CCCL has been thinking about this for a long time & is planning ahead.
