Ribh's D'Coopage

I'm fine thanks Lozzy.

One of my sisters can be a bit of a drama queen and has seemed to have lost touch with
reality along the way.
Now she is having genuine health concerns so me and my other siblings have been caught between worry and exasperation. :barnie
I'm sorry to hear it. I've been through similar with my brother who has learned to manage better over time.

I live vicariously through you as I stick to boring endangered breeds. I need to pay someone to do a lot of excavation work around here, but need the money first. I'd love to construct multiple houses with multiple runs, automatic feeders and waterers.

ETA: I'd also like to leverage rain catch and sink a new well. One can wish.
I have lots of plans too, but I hope to achieve a couple with this year's tax return.

I lost a whole swag of images with the old computer but Ha'penny is my Golden Campine & since I lost Tuppence she has become super flighty & unhandable. Not unfriendly. She still eats from my hand & enjoys my company but I haven't been able to handle her @ all.

Yesterday I noticed all the girls had headed up to bed early so I went out early to check everyone was comfortably roosting. Ha'penny heard the latch & hurtled back downstairs in the hope of treats & squatted. It's been a while so I grabbed the opportunity & picked her up. She wasn't overly happy but I was really happy. She feels a good weight, well stuffed & rounded, her feathers are in good condition , her eyes clear, & no sign of peskies.

I can handle most of my girls but Ha'penny & Morrigu are difficult & I have been trying to check everyone as Suyin has a mite problem ~ but she does seem to be the only one with the problem. I think we're getting it under control but it is being a slow old process.
Did Ha'pennys bald spot fill in ok?

Well Campines are both heritage & endangered so I am lucky enough to have it both ways. :D Admittedly Wyandotte bantams & BRs aren't but they are both very sweet breeds. The man is enamoured with the bantams & he loves the Campines. Can't really ask for more from the man who never wanted chickens.
Chickens are good at wearing us men down. 😆

That's wonderful. I'm so happy for you. It's always fun when you have an excuse to hold them, regardless the reason.

I'm sorry that this has occurred. You can always come here to escape. Or vent for that matter. We got your back. :hugs

It's nice to come and talk chicken with , relatively, sane people. ;) We are all chicken mad here!

I was glad to see you checking in too! :D You have definitely been missed. :hugs
Apologies not requires. Just a bit concerned.;)

Thank you all for your concern. I am genuinely touched :love:hit

MJ, I'm glad your brother has improved.

My sister seems to get worse over time, more noticeably since Mum died 2 years ago.

I expect the chronic pain she's been in for the last few months hasn't helped. :( It doesn't excuse the hurtful, vitriolic behaviour though.

Here's hoping medical intervention helps. :fl
