Ribh's D'Coopage

Good morning folks :frow I just got off work and have a few minutes to kill...

Alex, I once mistakenly signed up for a class AEST time.... I hadn't had my coffee yet and I totally missed the A... But yea the course started a little after midnight my time and was an 8 hour class. I should have thought about the fact that the company offering the class is Australian. :gig
Pays to do your research I guess! :lau:gig

Working the night shift! :barnie

I had the worst day today. I needed lumber for a remodeling project. But my truck battery died.
Can't fit 10ft lengths in a car. Home Depot would not cut my boards to length. (Because I needed Pressure treated planks) They don't cut those.
I'm not sure if AutoZone will make good on my battery warranty tomorrow, I hope they do, but It's Battery #2 :fl Totally wasted day!

Killer Kirby just arrived with a dead rodent.
There will be no cuddles with that cat any time soon! 🤢
The man insists he's just helping with my coop management.
Having groomed he is now comatose atop the couch.

I love a cat that knows it's job. Lots of cuddles from me Kirby! :hugs :hugs

When I chose my roo for my flock, I looked for one who was first and foremost kind to the hens. I don't like a rough rooster when they mate. Learning balance at first is one thing, but I had a cockerel who would pin the hens down while he mated with them.

Second was protection, all of the boys watched for things from above, but I also wanted one that watched on the ground.

Third was his interaction with me, I wanted a rooster I could approach and handle if needed. I did not want him to follow me around or be my pet, that's what the hens are for.

I can honestly I succeeded in choosing the right one, Stanley is a very good rooster who is a great protector and gentle leader.
You did a magnificent job. Stanley is an all time great!
