Everything round here is *suddenlies*. Suddenly our son arrived. Suddenly we needed a few more things. Suddenly I finished YD's afghan & passed it along. Suddenly all YD's housemates want one too. I have enough orders to keep me busy crocheting for months! Suddenly I needed more wool. So where I have been today is on the mainland attending to the suddenlies. To say my girls are peeved would be an understatement.
We have a grandchild arriving mid September So that has been this month's project ~ a lovely waffle pattern but following instructions is not my forte & I have had some really dyslexic moments getting the pattern to work. *sigh* I'll be done before I have this nailed.

It's not difficult; I just have trouble *seeing* what needs doing.

Some time ago I made a lovely lacy blankie for a PEI friend's daughter & YD has put in an order for her pregnant housemate ~ only in PINK! I do
not like pink.
The girls loved me sitting out on the verandah in summer while I crocheted. They would gather round to chat & comment like a bunch of old Amish women! It was terribly funny.
So while John came home laden with bags of cement & mortar colouring & shovels & things of that nature I went & bought pink wool.
