Isn't it gorgeous!
Isn't it gorgeous!
This morning's sunrise from my kitchen window.
My neighbour trimmed the murraya bush outside the window for me to let the light back in.

I've been blessed to have a special relationship with several of my hens: Tuppence & Lottie & now Alpia. I have an interesting if unconventional relationship with Ha'penny & Aoife ~ they like to hang close but no touchy~touchy. That is the best. You are fortunate that she has chosen you. It is funny how quickly they choose sometimes. I knew from day one there was something special about Maleficent. I'm glad you have that bond with her.

It does. It's why it got planted there.Lovely.
I'll bet it smells good too when the murraya flowers.
Me too and for the same reason!I love listening to the birds. Our seasonal birds will soon be leaving and it will become much quieter.
I sleep with my bedroom window open about 3 inches (7-8cm) year round, partly because I'm so hot all the time, partly just so I can hear the nature sounds. That's how I've heard the coyotes, foxes, and owls.
Let me know when to pay for you to find some. It worked last time.I think it is. They've settled down a lot. I may need to wait on the new lot to give you a real Campine session. If I can ever get my hands on some new birds!
