That is the best. You are fortunate that she has chosen you. It is funny how quickly they choose sometimes. I knew from day one there was something special about Maleficent. I'm glad you have that bond with her.

I've been blessed to have a special relationship with several of my hens: Tuppence & Lottie & now Alpia. I have an interesting if unconventional relationship with Ha'penny & Aoife ~ they like to hang close but no touchy~touchy.

I love listening to the birds. Our seasonal birds will soon be leaving and it will become much quieter.
I sleep with my bedroom window open about 3 inches (7-8cm) year round, partly because I'm so hot all the time, partly just so I can hear the nature sounds. That's how I've heard the coyotes, foxes, and owls.
