Ribh's D'Coopage

A little bit of rain & the yard has burst into life.
We have tadpoles.
Big, juicy, fat tadpoles.
They are living here...I'm surprised the girls haven't gone fishing...

And I am walking through clouds of Caper White Butterflies, which have migrated to breed.
I couldn't capture the clouds on my phone but here are 2 on my white wisteria...

I'm sure they will once they discover them! I love butterflies & Wisteria...we have a purple one!

It is rather... :) They know I don't have treats but they all gather round & chat to me & tell me about their day. It is a very soothing way to spend some time.
I love spending time with my flock! I like to inspect their pen and the majority of them are under my feet as they follow me around, it's so cute! I want to set up a bench out there, but haven't done it yet!

I actually got to spend time with them today & we had their dinner together. They hate when I don't sit with them while they pig. :lau Ha'penny is one of the 3 I originally hand fed & though she is now a higher status girl she is very demanding of her right to be one of my special girls. 🥰 Then my 2 little Wyandottes usually come for some special attention & Beatha hovers, never quite sure if it's ok or not because everyone else will give her a big heave~ho. Medh is in with Mhari to keep her company while she detoxes from being broody. I chucked some leaf litter in the pen as after the storms it's a bit slimy & it gets smelly quickly if I don't throw something in there.

What a good man! My mom gave us the one that we have!
I'm trying to figure out our time difference! Is it 4:30 pm for you? I think that you're 18 hours ahead of me, so it's already November 1st for you?
Yep, about 4.30 pm. And yes, we've hit November already. It was a gorgeous day here & the 1st sultry one we've really had this spring. It is cooling off now with the sea breeze picking up & the sun going but the girls are still out & preening.
