Ribh's D'Coopage

Yes, we stormed last night before the wind rose. Today is not very nice.
Yeah.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this. You would be my second friend with a kidney stone right now. Not good. :hugs :hugs

I am firm in my belief that animals know when we did not feel well and they do not avoid us like spouses and children will, rather they come to us and provide comfort. That is a wonderful set of partners you have there.

Get well soon. :hugs:hugs

Just spoke with the doctor. No kidney stone, just a severely pulled muscle. Rest and steroids and I should feel right as rain in about 2 days.

Thank you everyone for the kind thoughts!

I've been in pain for a week now. I finally went to the doctor and we're waiting on CT scan results to see if it's a kidney stone or a muscle pull in my back.

The animals know I'm in pain. They've decided to make a cuddle puddle with me. ❤

Dixie beat Rex up on the couch. Taz usually doesn't lay with me, so he must sense something. Scooby is happy I'm off work today and he can get extra snuggles.
Oh no. Please feel better soon.

That's good news. I'm very glad to hear it.

Strangely enough the CT from my friend also showed no stones. Go figure.

I have a 3mm stone in my Left Kidney but that's been there for years. I was on Topamax for migraine prevention for years and it caused kidnesy stones. I have one stuck for 6 weeks before the urologist finally went up with a scope and removed it.

My doctor figured it was caused by a simple muscle spasm gone wrong. With my fibro I never know what is going to hurt or when. My pain level on a day to day basis is around a 3. I don't start to worry until my pain over 5, even then I still deal with it. This pain has been at a level 8 for the past week. If I hit level 10 I'm usually on my way to the ER.
