Ribh's D'Coopage

Glad to add to your vocabulary. Probably the only way to add to it is with foreign words. I expect you know all the English words already... ;)
I wish ~ though I do know some odd English words... ;) And I taught YD some very mild *language* in Gaelic ~ but not the French I know. Why is is always easier to learn all the swear words first than essential things like how to ask for coffee & directions to the loo? 🤔

They are very lovely and I would get another one...if I ever have banty's again! :)
That's reassuring. It's always nice to hear someone loves a breed enough they'd get it again ~ even if they are a tad *difficult*

My banty's were totally free ranging and some of them would always roost in the tree's and not go into the coop! She was a survivor and outlasted most of the others! I'm so glad I have a more secure setup now! :)

So today was a mainland day but guess what I saw @ the produce store? Keets! I was so, so tempted! But I had a thunk in the middle of the night, which is when these things tend to happen, & realised that in all the years of trying to source interesting chickens I'd never asked the produce store if they had contacts. Duh!!! I was quite excited about it & left the man to lug a really heavy bag of feed out to the car while I picked someone's brains...to no avail! :( Sometimes people get in touch with them when they want to offload chicks but they don't have anyone regular. It was such a good idea I was quite disappointed. How does a produce store not have contacts?

I'm hoping, being a non~European breed they may be hardier & longer lived. :fl

That's a brilliant idea! I'm a bit dumbfounded it didn't work out :idunno
