Ribh's D'Coopage

I think you'll love the Japanese bantams!!
I think so too. I think they will be a good fit with the flock. The Wyandottes should be too because the bantams are fantastic with the Campines!

ETA: The frizzles shouldn't be a problem either as the flock is used to something bigger & fluffier than these girls will be.

Wow that was fast! Congratulations! 8 new ladies! Did I do the math right? It's still dark out here and early for math. 🤔
It was fast. This is out in the country a bit so may be why she has plenty. :idunno I've looked round for sellers for ages & there just aren't that many.

Sounds like Wrold is a bit tsundere. Acts all tough and uncaring on the outside but is actually sweet and lovable on the inside. 😉
She's a funny little chickie. She's quite feisty but far more cautious than Alpia. Alpia tends to channel her inner Campine a lot more. :gig

Oh. My. Goodness. I have new girls arriving on Friday! I can't quite believe this is happening so quickly. The only thing Natasha doesn't have right now are aracaunas so...2 Japanese bantams ~ a splash & a birchen; 2 frizzle bantams that I think she said were Belgian, 2 silver laced Wyandottes. She does have aracaunas in the incubator but that is a wait. Starting to get excited.🥰
Oh wow!
New babies!!! So exciting! I can’t wait for baby pictures!

Watch out for those extras. You could wind up with a Sansa or a Lilly! 😆
My problem will be the man. He doesn't want to do chickens himself but he has his own ideas about what I should own. [we rarely agree :lau] I've always wanted silver laced Wyandottes ~ so pretty. The man prefers gold laced. We could have some of each I suppose but I'm less keen on the golds. I'm suspicious of anything with some red in their genes.

They won't be real babies. I'm not set up for that but they will be young pullets, not even POL & the Japanese are a true bantam & tiny. :)

The Japanese breed was used in creating the Phoenix breed!
Yes, I remember reading that. They are suppossed to be very sweet tempered. Breedwise it sounds like i may have more broody fliers. I certainly know how to pick 'em!
