Agree, there's no excuse. I have mild dyslexia but I spend my days reading and writing and I love it. I think bedtime stories played a big role in constructing my literacy. And I'm super grateful to aunts and grandparents and to dad for reading to me and buying me great books.I had 3 dyslexics. I worked my butt of to ensure they were all literate by the end of Primary school. There is NO excuse. I will now remove myself & my soapbox before I say something unforgiveable.

Even as highschoolers my kids loved me to read aloud to them. ☺That's awesome and I bet the kids still remember your story time!
