I am proud of myself that I didn’t intervene!
I actually see it as a further step towards integration, and Elizabeth is much more benign than Diana or Maggie, and she is snuggled up, so I really hope it is OK.

Good for your mom!!! Mothers and fathers are our first teachers! When my daughter was in high school, she would come home and say "Calculus make me happy", yes, this was my daughter, the daughter of a mathematically challenged person... She obviously got her smarts from her dad!
