Aww, here's my little Stanze. An RSPCA rescue and lived to the ripe old age of about 18.I’ll have to find a picture of my first cat Constanze. She had a splash down her nose and blue eyes.

Awww, sweet Mal. Hubby was laughing at her "preening" you. That is true. The ear pecks are no fun either!
I do feel that I need to share now. It is wonderful to be hen pecked.
I'd love to have a cat with that sort of nature. She's such a darling.Éowyn is now 9 months old. Here she is at my feel under my desk in the library. She is very dog like in her behavior.

Sorry to hear that. But I'm glad you have the vet to back you up.Thanks ACM. My problem is always the next step. I'm crappy @ diagnosing what is wrong. Morrigu's tail is right down now so if she doesn't pick up today it will be the Vet Thursday.
Is that type of marking called chimera? Or something like that.Aww, here's my little Stanze. An RSPCA rescue and lived to the ripe old age of about 18.

I only just realized that both Belle and Noodle have this line. Although Noodle's takes a detour at the end.So beautiful. I love when cats have that straight line down their nose with one color on each side. It looks so intentional if you know what I mean.
I think technically a chimera has to have genes from two separate individuals, but they often look "split down the middle".Is that type of marking called chimera? Or something like that.
I'm so sorry Ribh.We had to leave very early this morning for the Drs & audiologists.
Morrigu was still soundly asleep so I made sure she had food & water & was out of any drafts. When we got home she was down.
I started antibiotics last night but she smells funky ~ not the usual healthy chicken smell~ & I suspect egg yolk peritonitis or salpingitis. Bit hard to know for sure as she hasn't come back on the lay after her moult. I can't feel an egg & her comb is purplish so it may be liver/kidneys/heart. Whatever it is there's no vet till Thursday & I don't think she will make it till then. I am keeping her warm & forcing liquids down her throat every so often but there's not much more I can do I don't think. Although she came with Aoefa she is a much older hen ~ just how old I'm not sure. She's always been so totally feral that cuddles have always been a rarity ~ but this is not ever how I like to get them.

Thank you. She went downhill super fast. We are doing our best for her but she's not a young hen.I'm so sorry Ribh.
At least she is comfortable and warm inside with you.
