Ouch. I am so sorry. It sucks when you start missing the friends you can't visit. I visit my girls multiple times a day & they always rush to greet me. If I'm in the run most of them forage round my feet. If I sit outside everyone congregates near that fence. My squatters squat. My cuddlers ask to be picked up. Everyone wants a word or two. It's chaotic if I'm away for even a day. I do hope your knee is better soon.

I was just outside hoping that they would all come when I called.
No such luck. I yelled “Chook, CHOOK, CHOOOOOOK!” But no one came.

Hubby then appeared and apologised because he had just given them some bread.

Oh I'm sorry. Was it a sudden new injury or a flare up of an old injury?

A bit of both actually. It’s my “bad” knee but it has never swelled up like this without being dislocated first.
I’m waiting on the MRI results but the orthopaedic surgeon thinks I probably won’t be able to walk on it for about a month.

I know right? But at least I have crutches now. I was using the shower stool as a walker to get around before.

By the way Ribh, you were right about the Emergency Department being bad during a pandemic. I was there from 12.45pm to 12.45am on Monday/Tuesday. They were flat out.
