I've lost some entirely... But my Vorwerk seems to be doing better. She's more stable on her feet & polished of her antibiotics quick smart! She's in a cage on the patio table covered with a towel on 3 sides. I couldn't put her in with the girls as they'd roost on the cage & poop all over her. And the lad objects to the chickens coming inside. Fair enough. I busted Olivia trying to nest in his clean clothes. I have Beatha on Baytox now too. She delivered a foamy poop while I was watching & I've been a bit concerned about her for a day or two. Not sick, but not quite right either, so I figure she's in the same boat but still got her balance ok. Hopefully I've been onto this quick enough.

Mine too! Yesterday’s are after this mornings, and in no particular order. Geez, I get confused easily enough so as it is. Lol.

I've lost a few chickens where that was the only symptom, which makes me think I've lost a few to coccidea. I've always been able to tell when one of my girls is off. It's knowing what to do next is the hard part for me. Thanks to Shad's bread & honey tip she is gobbling down her antibiotic with no fuss @ all.

The loss of balance has thrown me before because it's not a listed symptom. Sadly for the chickens this is something I've had to learn through trial & error.

I've got a wormer ordered as well but it will be a couple of weeks before that arrives. Covid has really screwed with our mail. I've waited over a month for my new bank card to arrive!

I'm glad you have them on their way to improved health.

I had trouble with BYC too yesterday, then couldn’t get in at all soI missed most of this.

So glad she’s improving Ribh and taking her medicine like a good girl.

Thanks, Kat. Given these girls are still rather flighty when they have to be handled she's been very good. She's still wobbly but up on her feet.​
