Good morning/evening everyone

Happy Caturday everyone.
The chipmunks are a real tease. They run up to the glass and then when they have his attention they scamper away waving their tails at him in a very provocative manner. He will either die from the stress or from the concussion he gets when he bangs his head leaping at the glass.
Just kidding. He is fine. But at this time of year it is his major hobby. View attachment 2904072

This made me laugh because Todd is always chasing chipmunks . He would go through the glass no doubt

We don't have much activity this time of year as it has gotten cold. Spring, summer, early fall are the rodent and bird watching times. DD2's cat especially will run window to window to window. If I'm lucky he misses my face when he jumps up on the beam in our bedroom in the early morning.

What a splendid photo.

He's very photogenic. I think his brother is prettier but Kirby often takes the better picture. I was lucky with this shot.

I once opened the door just a crack to talk to a neighbor and this one’s brother leapt out - in the time it took me to register I had a cat out he returned with a live chipmunk in his jaws. He is very fast but has lost most of his teeth so I was able to rescue the chipmunk

That's quite a mental picture! I bet the chipmunk continues to tell it's grandkids about the time it got caught by a cat

But then it didn't have enough teeth to do much harm!!

I bet Grandpa Chipmunk told the GK's he put up a heck of a fight (and forgot to mention the near total lack of teeth).

I can second that. Minnie has had just a single tail feather for weeks and weeks.
She lost that one feather today. But look, she is beginning to grow a tail. And I caught her actually eating actual chicken food.
I was a bit disappointed that she had o my put on about 2oz in weight and is still less than when I took her to the vet and got the feedback that she was too skinny.

One of Minnie’s new tail feathers is a bit of a mutant. I’ll try to remember to grab pic tomorrow.
