They're so fast to learn new things though, don't you think? Look how fast your lot settled in to their new home! It seemed like they were cool with it within a day or two.

Yep. They learnt the new routine within 24 hours ~ no problems. They'd explored every inch of the yard by then too. The cats are still crawling round on their bellies when taken for a walk.

Never teach a chicken something you don't want it to learn!
The neighbour my son rents from asked if she could toss the occasional vegetable scraps over her fence for my chickens. After discussing what could & could not be eaten by chickens I agreed.
The girls learnt fast that some truly delectable goodies come to them from the other side of the fence.​

I often have the same feeling the other way around! It takes a little getting used to.

Now there's a word that's been cropping up lately in the last couple of weeks! I mentioned how at my workplace we were doing Christmas activities; well I held a word challenge and 'discombobulate' was one of them.
