Ribh's D'Coopage

Cats are more likely to drink if they have running water - I got one of those fountain thingys and it is true they all drink more as a result.
I've been looking @ those but they are quite expensive so I am still looking. Are they easy to clean, RC?

One of my friends bought her cat a fountain and he loooves it. I must get one for Blossy.
I was really skeptical about the idea - but mine seem fascinated by the dribbling water. They rarely drink from the bowl - they lap it up as it comes out of the fountainy thing.
I also thought they (and I) wouldn't like the noise - but that seems fine too.
The other thing I like is that it has a reservoir and keeps the water clean longer - I only wash it out once a week and give it a deep clean every couple of months.

It is more of a palaver to clean than simply rinsing out a bowl that is for sure. But I find it worth it because I don't have to do it so often.
There are lots of different designs - mine is not very attractive to look at but has a nice big reservoir.
I don't recall it being very expensive but mine is now ancient so I may not remember - must be about 8 years old because I got it for the last generation of cats who were on their last legs.

That's helpful. Thanks.

I'd love to see a photo of it, if you don't mind and have time.

Jasper is such a smooch!
