Wednesday Whatever (well it is Thursday in Oz now but this is "whatever" so WHATEVER!)

In my extended family of 26 people, 5 have had depression diagnosed. Every depression diagnosis followed loss or trauma. Every case was treated with SSRIs. And every case recuperated over time, with two notable exceptions who experienced deep childhood trauma, one of whom
eventually took her own life
and the other had an enormous turn of luck and now lives joyfully through being deeply honoured and loved and having fun daily, while managing her mental health with care. I wonder whether those who recuperated would have done so anyway.
My Dr prescribed them for the PTSD. I made him take me off them. It did nothing for the anxiety/depression. I could still sense it. I just had no energy to deal with any of it. It's not good but @ least I feel I have some control over what is going on.

There's a lot to be said for "some control"

Luna is a very proper hen.
She is delighted to have *real* nesting boxes to lay in again.
The *favourite* is the one next to her. Why does everyone want to lay in the same box?

The new nestboxes make for good pictures - the color is lovely - and it frames the hen very well. Nice picture of Luna looking a tad disgruntled.

I am very happy with the colour. I think the hens like it too. It probably reminds them of the green outside but is darker & safer.
