Ribh's D'Coopage

It's been a traumatic chicken week.
Day 1: I thought I'd lost Chavi to a snake.
I went to let the girls out & she was nowhere to be found. I scoured the coop, checked the run, called...not a peep. Went to right the water container and there she was underneath it, perfectly happy. 🙄

Day 3 of her sickness China just gave up the ghost. 😔 She's been doing pretty well up until then.

Day 4 I went to let the girls out and there was Portia, dead as a doornail under the roost. No idea. She was perfectly fine during the day, her usual bossy, noisy, bustling self.

However, here are the four new girls, un-named as yet.

Oh my that's a lot all in one week! China and Portia. So sad.
The newcomers seem to understand their role as eye-candy - I look forward to more pictures.
:love

They come from the same tribe as Leonard. The last batch of chicks were all frizzles so I got lucky, feather dusters non withstanding.
