Ribh's D'Coopage

I guess this comes under “art”, but I discovered today that some music I submitted to a library got used in a UK documentary! No credit (booo) but I will get a royalty. My track can be heard between 2:04 - 3:00, and the doco is pretty interesting!

Congratulations! You must've been so surprised and delighted!

The doco is fascinating and your music is perfect for that section! Hopefully it will attract lots of viewers.

Very cool.
I recognized your contribution the minute it started!
I didn’t watch the whole thing though it looks interesting.
Thanks! ☺️

Yes, I do have a bit of a style. 🤭 However, I’ve just written a score for a Virtual Reality short that’s about two robots abandoned in a junkyard, and it’s a fusion of orchestral, choral and electronic. It has shades of Bladerunner over the end credits so it sounds a bit different to my usual style.

Once I heard where my music was, I was able to get into the stories. It was pretty interesting!

That is absolutely how I felt! The library has a portal; I’ll have to log I and see if it says anything there. The doco was broadcast on Sky TV in the UK about a fortnight ago, but I was delighted to find the actual episode on YouTube! Usually these things are hidden behind a streaming service.

Sounds marvelous. I hope to hear it someday.
