Ribh's D'Coopage

Wow! What kind of milk do you give it? For how long? How do you get it go back to the wild?
So many questions!
I’m not a wildlife carer, one of my rowing coaches is. Not sure what’s in the milk, and I think it’s many months that you have to rear the joeys. I have a friend who is a carer and she was looking after bigger joeys for a while, so I got to bottle-feed one of them. 🥰

One day I am going to figure out why Americans et al think our wild life is cute. 🤔 Ok, I admit I have a mother wallaby with a joey in her pouch haunting my yard just now & while they are sweet I know to keep my distance. Those claws can rip you apart in no time, even the littlest ones.

Because Australia does that to people. Scary spider isn't going to eat you, but super cute kangaroos will.

Sweetpea has walking issues.
I can't see anything wrong. She doesn't seem to be in pain. She is alert & interested in everything going on around her.
I have treated her for scaley mite.
I suspect she injured her leg somewhere in transit from crate to crate to coop.
I will monitor & hope it improves soon.
