Rips, tears, broken and never to be opened

remember when cereal came with a toy surprise but you would have to empty the entire box to get the surprise and your mothers looks when she saw the cereal all over the place, now thats the surprise

I'm never at my best first thing in the morning and that darn bag got the best of me. After the explosion, the kid ended up changing his mind to leftover spaghetti and garlic bread instead. Hope the chickens enjoy the Lucky Charms.

You have to have kids to eat Lucky Charms???

I don't have any kids, but i have to have my monthly supply of lucky charms and cocoa puffs

I didn't mind Lucky Charms but hated Cocoa Puffs and Strawberry frankenberry.

Oh the twin pack of hearing aid batteries. I just love those tough wrappings when you really need to pop them open. Definately NOT elderly friendly by any means.

I hate the pancake mix boxes and the baking soda boxes, your supposed to be able to push into the perforated corner to make a hole but then you can never get the darn cardboard to come back out... so if you start to pour pancake mix it'll stop because of that stupid tab so you try to move it and pancake mix goes everywhere

Another thing is animal feed bags! Sometimes seems like they're not meant to be opened

ETA: OH, and electronic packaging!!!! Scissors have trouble getting it open!

My biggest pain is FEED BAGS! They have that little string that you need to pull, but I never can figure out which end I should start at. I try pulling one side, nope, then the otherside. Then I think I have it, I mean I see string in my hand, nope it just from the plastic strip under the string

I keep pulling until, zip and splat, feed all over the kitchen floor. Everytime this happens, you would think I would have learned, if my DH opens the bag he uses knife

that is just to easy.

Another is the foil under the coffee creamer top. I think that foil is indestructable! I try pulling the tab, but it just doesn't budge! Not something you want to deal with "before coffee" in the morning!

stanglover2001 beat me to the feed bag thing

Electronic packaging are the worse offenders of all!

How about bread tabs, they never seems to keep the bread fresh and soft!

hubby got that problem with feed bag tabs, he never seems to get it straight w hile I never had any problems with it.

How about strink wrap on items?

My bread is always fresh, but I pay for it! I buy peppridge farms sourdough... now opening the wrapping around the bread inside of the normal bag they come in is totally just find a good corner and pull it only to rip it completely off, I do have to say that is some of the best bread and it doesn't disenegrate under a knife spreading cream cheese

because it's thick sliced goodness, only one person can make it better than peppridge, and thats momma!

Another pain is opening childrens toys, I mean come on it's meant for a child and it takes 3 adults with sharp objects to free one barbie!

I'm guilty of not being able to open jars. On mother's day me and my dad made dinner. I pulled out a jar of green beans (we canned them years ago and have so many of them I have to come up with an excuse to open a jar. I like home canned better anyways, plus that was the last thing we did with my grandmother before she had her first stroke and we couldn't do that kind of thing anymore) and I couldn't get the metal ring on the outside to screw off. After 15 mins of trying I took it out to my dad by the grill and he opened it on the first try.

Then there was the jar of pickles in the same day.

I say through it out and go get a big roll from Costco if you have a Costco and it lasts forever and ever.

I have cut myself on the plastic or foil cutter before too it sure hurts and cuts good.

I love it when my husband is having the hardest time ever opening something and I come along and walaw....lol spells the same thing backwards. It happened today and was so darn funny. It was spraying the weeds with weed killer and could not open the sprayer to make up the mix.
