That may just be the camera and the lighting. The one in question looked just like "Gretta" when I got them. I think that the coloring is probably the lighting.... I see what you mean though... and I hope that Gretta is not a roo

I think it's a bit early to tell. I didn't take notice of my RIR roo until he was about 2 1/2 weeks old. I will say, though, that one of the things that made him different from the girls was the lack of tail feathers. The girls had them and his were barely there for a long time and were very slow to grow which is probably why there's a wondering on Gretta.
