RIRs, gender & pure/mixed?

Okay, I posted these two about a month ago and they were virtually twins. Said both were cockerels. Fast forward, one is without a doubt male but the other... not as red, less comb/wattles, more petite. Maybe I'm hoping against hope haha. What do you think? First 3 pics are the bird in question and the last is to show the progress of the other obvious cockerel vs this one. 12 weeks old. And are these RIR or RIR crosses?
