Not a lot of adoptions right now and a lot of people are trying to get rid of their cats or find ones outside and since it's getting cold they think they are doing the right thing but catching it and bringing it to us

Yeah big time. I did a couple cat adoptions today though so that was good. People who find the ones outside we can't take since we aren't licensed to take in strays because well it could be somebodies cat that they just picked up
I could only imagine someone bringing in their neighbors cat
Yeah we decided to avoid that awkward moment of putting up someone's pet for adoption
“Hey have you seen my cat he went missing a couple days ago” then you just point to the room where he’s just in the window saying “his adoption fee will be $50”
Yeah that business wouldn't last long
