I want snow so much! Btw, you asked for a pic of our new kitten @henny1129 (he has several names as of now, they are "Roswell" "Alien" and sometimes "ET" after the old 80's film). We have pics of him, but only at our sisters house. Here is one of him from a month or so ago: He doesn't look this weird anymore.

We are keeping him on our front porch, he is sleeping in a cardboard box with some blankets and a big stuffed animal (he is used to his sleeping with his mom and siblings) We asked our mom if he could come inside because its supposed to be in the 20's this weekend. But he has fleas so she said no. But we are going to get a heating pad for him to sleep on, what are you all up to? Anything interesting?

Hmm, how old is he? We put a drop of Kitten Flea Medicine from Advantage on both Spider and Luna when we got them. I know the box says for kittens 8 weeks and older, but honestly both our kittens were about 3 weeks when we gave it to them. Just a real small drop between the shoulder blades and the fleas will start dropping like crazy. Nothing really. My mom, grandma, and aunt are going on a "girls night out", leaving me with my brother and dad. I think I'm gonna try to convince them to let us go to a really good pizza place.

We are also are going to be getting another kitten either today or tomorrow from our neighbors. The kitten is so cute! He is actually some type of "miniature kitten". He was born in spring but he is no bigger than a tiny kitten! We can't wait!

Hi RodNTN, love your snippets. Where in Tn. Are you? I'm in Al. Used to live in Tn. I just started raising chickens. I have a flock of 3 white leghorns, 3 silver leghorns, 4 RIR hens and one RIR rooster named buddy. Athey just started laying got 9 eggs today. Then I hatched out another flock that are about 3 months old. 9 roosters and two hens. Couldn't believe it. Needless to say some of them are no longer around but I still have 1 pair buff Orpington, 1 cukoo maran rooster, 1 beautiful white and black rooster got that egg from a cousin named him Dwayne (that's the cousins name also). And 1 black hen that is the offspring of a red sex link. I also have 2ducks and 5 guineas, and 5 quail. Enjoying every minute of raising chickens, hope it continues as its starting to get cold. I have an incubater of several different birds don't know how that will go with the cold. They are BR, Serama, and khaki Campbell ducks.

Thanks! He is 2 1/2 months. We brought him inside today because the low for tonight is supposed to be 23*! He is now staying in our basement. We gave him a bath (he HATED it!) and put some DE and flea medicine on him. I hope you enjoyed that pizza (if you got it!

) Do you mind showing me a pic of Luna (if you have one, and if you want to). Or have I saw her before? Lol
Btw, tonight I was playing with Roswell (the kitten) with a string and he was running around in circles playing with him and when I stopped he would get so dizzy and fall over!

So we took him into a vet and got him some shots and neutered and now he's much better! He sleeps in our barn and comes around occasionally in the day.
