Roo, ruffled feathers, yellow, runny poop

Stop with the DE, it's ineffective and can be a respiratory irritant.
Grower feed is fine.

Not sure if coccidiosis presents with yellow poops.
Does your area have blackhead?
Not sure if blackhead makes chickens sick.

How old is this bird?
Did his symptoms appear after the chicks were brought in?
How long ago was that and what is the age and source of the chicks?

Not sure if the area has blackhead, I hadn't heard of it untill yesterday. I'm in the Lansing (MI) area.
He is a little over a year, his symptoms started yesterday. The chicks are 12 weeks, raised from day olds. They were put in the coop a couple weeks ago.
Thank you!

I'm really not familiar with most diseases/ailments,
but this is what I do when I have a bird that is acting off.
I isolate bird in a wire cage within the coop for a day or two....so I can closely monitor:
-their intake of food and water,
-crop function(checking at night and in morning before providing more feed),
-and their poops.

Feel their abdomen, from below vent to between legs, for squishy or hard swelling.
Check for external parasites or any other abnormalities.

Best to put crate right in coop or run so bird is still 'with' the flock.
I like to use a fold-able wire dog crate (24"L x 18"W x 21"H) with smaller mesh(1x2) on bottom of crate under tray.
Then you can put tray underneath crate to better observe droppings without it being stepped in. If smaller mesh is carefully installed, tray can still be used inside crate.

Another bird has started pooping yellow, no other symptoms. Should I isolate them in sperate crates or in the same one?
Thank you for the help!
