Roo's tail was picked off - how long before it grows back?

My Wellie Roo had his tail picked off about 6-7 weeks ago and i didn't think he would make it, but i seperated him and he recovered just fine. Some of his saddle feathers are starting to re-grow (he is approximately 16 weeks old) but i was wondering how long it will take for his entire tail to grow back? any guestimates?

As long as the feather germ is still there under the skin and it was just the feather pulled out, they will come back in a few weeks. If a part of the feather was broken inside, it will come back at his next moult, which should be starting pretty soon. If it is bare, be sure he is not picking out the pin feathers though, as they taste good to the birds and will keep him bald since they aren't hidden under other feathers.

took mine a few months, best I could figure was the hens plucked him while on the roost. they only did it once though over a couple weeks
