Here to update yall on his eye.It looks fully healed. Im having a hard time telling if he can see or not...it seems like he can but I'm not positive.I did the eye test and that eye did dilate like the other. Any ideas to tell if he has sight?

Try holding something yummy on that side of his head piece of tomato or a grape! What ever he like. Piece of lettuce

Lol he keeps turning his head and walking away.I do have to say he is more of a skidding duck.Ill keep trying thanks for the idea!

He’s feeling good again that’s great you’ll probably be able to tell by him compensating maybe turning his head differently to see something too. Hopefully his eyesight is good again!!

@Farmgal101 - it looks like you did a great job on this, well done! Great care of your beautiful duck. I hope his vision returns but if it doesn't then I expect he will cope just fine.

I'm so glad it's healed and you avoided infection! It's possible he has some vision, even if not great, like maybe he can see shapes and shadows. I'm sure he will adjust either way. It sounds like he is doing great!
