rooster has stopped crowing and keeps his head down

They sell sevin at Walmart and TSC. I have used it for years without a problem on my dogs, chickens, and in my garden. But now I would recommend permethrin, since it is safer and recommended for poultry.
And it seems to work better. :D

He's pretty much back to normal now. His only problems are that (im assuming old) nits are still stuck on the feathers around his face and neck. He's still doing this weird thing all the time, too, and I really just have no idea what it is or why he's doing it.

That still looks like a neurological problem, wry neck or possibly, Mareks. I would keep him on vitamins and watch him. Using the lice treatment (permethrin) at 10 day intervals until all lice are gone will likely get the newly hatched lice eggs. His bedding also need to be treated.

I was about to say, the treatment for lice takes at least twice, and sometimes 3 times to get all of them, and the emerging nits.

My rooster is now doing this. Any cause or know solution?
