He is a DWARF BANTAM( which means he is small even for a bantam, but just by a little)! he doesn't hurt at all.

I'm sorry. One of my hens kept disappearing at night and would come back around 10 am. Maybe he will come back

ya we have 200 acres and a big chunk of woods but i don't think he would go there, he never goes too far from the coop like he is guarding it or something! he was the best rooster ever!!! we are gonna give him one last good look today and see what we can find, i, though, will never give up. the " we" might but the " me" won't!
in 2010 we had a predator take 40 of my chickens and i still don't give up, its really weird ( crazy right?) every time i hear a chicken behind me, i look and expect my other rooster, rocky, to be running up to me!

I'm sorry this happened. It might have been a predator hate to break it to you. I had a pullet disappear one afternoon, we have lots of land and woods and there are plenty of foxes, raccoons, oppsums, and coyotes. It broke my heart because she was my favorite out of 15 chicks. But don't loose hope!
