Rooster Missing

Discussion in 'Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures' started by chloezoebob101, Feb 18, 2012.

  1. So i was putting away my chickens, and when it came time to count my 4 bantams, my rooster, Bob, was gone! This is not like him at all. he always stays with his girls and NEVER leaves their side. We know he was here earlier because he flogged my mom, but not now. Could he have gotten in a fight with my other rooster, his son, and hid underneath the coop?

I lost a cockerel the third day after we got him. He showed up again on day 5. He must have hid in the bushes for two days.

    (Check the pool)

    Good Luck.

I hope you've been able to find your rooster, if you haven't dont worry, I'm sure he'll pop up very soon. Once, one of my extremely docile hens went missing right when I was putting all the chickens in their coop for night time. It scared me half to death since she was so small. But sure enough, the next day she was sleeping right outside the coop, she must of come back later in the night.

Anyways, dont worry. I'm sure he'll be fine!

If he flogged your mom earlier, you may want to look in Mom's freezer [IMG][IMG]

  10. He never showed up! I can't believe it, maybe he was taken by a predator, I don't know, I'm just SOOO worried! I raised him since 1 hour old, and now he's just gone! oh well, if he never shows up, then I'm getting a real rooster ( an actual size, big one !) He's a bantam so he could fly away, ugh! i just don't get it! i was gone for a week visiting my grandpa, and when i get back, my parents saw him, but i never did, so I'm never gonna see him again!
