CNS,
Good looking birds, do your males often carry thier wings that high or was it just a fluke in the picture? What colors are you currently raiseing is it just Blue and Black or do you have some of the others as well?
They carry them up higher in general. That black cockerel almost always holds them that high. I am currently working with black, blue, and splash but also have a pen with bbred pullets and a brown red male. Hopefully in the next two weeks I will be picking up a bbred male if I make it out to Kentucky.

if you get overloaded or hatch more than you need, or decide to sell some eggs, I would be interested in a few Black, Blue or Splash Pullets. As well as a few BB red once you have the BB male in there.
Ok my goal is to get out at least 350-400 so shouldn't be a problem at all. I just put 32 eggs in the incubator so the girls are finally starting to get in production mode!

Thought I would send a picture to look at of my black Rosecomb cockerel. Can you see the wideth of his tail feathers? He was never shown due to the earlobe injury as a young cockerel. In a breeding pen, not in good condition.
beautiful birds, and so wishing to one day be able to get some chickens, and especially more than the one rosecomb cockerel i had that i enjoyed the most out of all. any pics of chics, growing to adults?
