Pigeonman95. Yes, I have had birds shipped in with no problems what so ever. I do have some hens, 2012's some have been shown, and some I have not. I could sell a couple of those pullets. Some are just now starting to lay.

just bought these 4. They have clearly never been handled much you pick them up and they literally start screaming! I thought mine were wild!

Thanks he's getting old so he no longer that pretty. My new rooster the wild one is a year two nights ago I fed them and as i was leaving I looked back and he was flopping on the ground. Last time I saw a rooster doing that was at a show and a vet said he was having a heart attack did CPR and mouth to beak and he survived. I grabbed him and tried to calm him down but I wasn't about to do mouth to beak after a bit he was getting better but then his head went limp and he started twitching and gasping for air, my mom and I open his beak and it was packed with food so we dug out as much as we could but he didnt seem to be getting better so we put him out in the coop to let him calm down. Next morning he was just fine walking around and crowing but today he's dragging his tail and seems to be having problems digesting the food. They get fed pellets we've been feeding our bantams this for 6 years without problems. Any ideas what his problem is?

Hi,
I am new to this thread - but so glad to find it! I love my Rosecombs! I have had them for close to three years. My girls usually go broody a bit later in the season, but until then I gather the eggs and try to hatch them. Last year I had "some" success. I have heard that the incubation period is the same as other chickens - temp is the same - but humidity should be lower during hatch. Can anyone give me any advice? I have good fertile eggs and would love to see them hatch

I would also like to add new blood to my little group - can anyone direct me to someone who sells chicks?

Thank you so much for any help! Of all my poultry my Rosecombs bring me the most smiles! They are busy little things!!!!!
