OY VEY I am trying realy hard here as to how to explain this am I making any sense here or do I need to try agian.

While Carl is working on his birchens, and several other colors, i am going to be working on spangled rosecombs, using this male.

Rhayden,
He is a Brassy Back Rosecomb. he would be entered as a Rosecomb, and teh variety would be Brassy back. kathrine Plummer has some very Nice Brassy back and Blue Brassy Back Rosecombs. The variety is recognized by the ABA

if you get overloaded or hatch more than you need, or decide to sell some eggs, I would be interested in a few Black, Blue or Splash Pullets. As well as a few BB red once you have the BB male in there.

Me too! i love your birds

he is of a known and recognized variety, I think he needs to be in a bit better condition but once his tail and feathers are all back in place then yes show him and have fun with the hobby.

This has probably been asked and answered. I apologize. What is the relationship between Rosecombs, Dorkings and Hamburgs. I have Golden penciled Hamburgs and plan to get some good, heritage line Dorkings for my meat/Dual Purpose flock.
Also, are the Sicilian Buttercups related in anyway?
Not planning to do any crosses. I just like to know the history on these breeds and happened to note some remarkable similarities (except for the five toes, of course).
Thanks! Lovely birds, all, great pics.

. I hatched around fifty or so spangled, thirty out of this cock, and I narrowed it down to two of these pullets. The other is as nice but not quite as showy. I started getting eggs from these two pullets this past week. They are back under their daddy. I will be putting this spangled cock over a bb red and possibly a black rosecomb hen soon, to get my start on spangled rosecombs.
