to waste them. People who get worked up because silkies are cute
and fluffy do miss the big picture. I'm not saying you are one of them by

I have a few chickens, both standard and silkie, that I simply could not
eat. They mean too much to me. My two favorite silkies are now enjoying
a good life in Kee's back yard, my favorite standards are in the barn and
well past thier prime laying age, and my Denizli rooster, who I can't stand,
is still in the barn too because I can't bring myself to cull him.

I didn't take it as harsh at all. When I saw you had posted I was anxious
to see what kinda fun you had added to this thread.

People were kinda mellow here. You know there must be a bunch who
are biting their tongues right now.
