Rouens & Khaki Campbells

Hello everyone! I have been enjoying the group by searching the threads and reading everyone’s posts! My Mother’s Day ducks I’m guessing are around 7/8 weeks old. I have been trying to figure out their genders by their voices, I think the two Khaki Campbells are ducks and I think I have 2/3 ducks and 2/1 drakes in the Rouens. Can anyone tell by the photos? These are my first ducks and I just love them, I must say the Rouens are more friendly to me the Khakis love to run away but do come around as they others do lol. Thanks so much for your time!!

They are gorgeous! I don’t know about the Khaki’s, but I’m guessing 50% drakes and 50% ducks for the Rouens based on bill color.

As best I can tell, the Khakis look to be girls. The Rouens all look like drakes to me but I do not have Rouens so I hope I am wrong.

Thank you!! Based on voicing at first I thought I had 3 males 1 female in the Rouens. But in the last few weeks I’ve began thinking two are males. I’ve heard atleast two of them quack loudly (I thought anyhow). I appreciate you guys helping me as I am new to this so totally could be wrong lol but I will definitely update here as they grow!

This is months later... I would bet the black beak Khaki grew up to be a girl, the other a drake...

We ended up having 4 females and 2 males.

The Khakis are both females. The Rouens were two females, two males.

Unfortunately I only have 4 now - something got two of them a few months ago. They free range during the day (on a farm) and are put up at night time.
