She is SO pretty! Maybe the toes are turning gray just because their drying up more

Just curious, but if you gently feel (don't want to hurt RB) the foot, does it feel loose at all? I wonder how much connection is left between the dead foot and the leg. Seems like it's ready to drop off any second now!

I have felt it and it does not feel loose. Feels just as connected to rest of the leg as the other foot. It seems really brittle though.

Sometimes I doubt her foot will ever fall off.

A bit. She’s still a pretty feral bird.
I only say she’s a she because my male birds are courting her. I could still be wrong though, pigeons sometimes form same-sex relationships.
Yeah, though I did notice today that the back toe seemed to be loosening!
