*~*Runner Duck Club*~*

I finally had to separate my males from my females today. Two of my females have blood on the back of there heads. So is it true they will never stop mating? The boys will have to stay in the coop 24/7 until I can re home 3. I have the coop split.down the middle with a make shift door so I can open it when I let the girls out and close it when the girls go to bed. So I can keep them separate.

It's a decision I had to make about a month ago and re homed 2 of my 4 now I am thinking i will have to rehome one of the 2 I kept they are not satisfied they have 8 females of their own but are running down my scovy girls and mating with them and one has feathers missing down to skin now. Muscovy breeding and laying is over for this year too. I really hate this part.

I have to keep my drakes and ducks separate. I have Runners, Silver Welsh Harlequins and Pekins. Mainly because I have way too many drakes. But also because my Pekin drakes only like 1 out of 4 ducks. It's so hard to pick the ones to rehome.
