@Jenbirdee How is Poppy doing with her treatments?
4 days of 2 treatments a day so far I think some improvement but I need to do at least 2 weeks and Im doing twice a day so Im a little concerned about not doing 3 times a day as recommended.
When I kept her in hospital room for a week it was easy to do 3 or 4 times a day of anything - but Im hoping I dont have to bring her back inside. the more time she is away from the flock the more they pick on her when she returns

I know how that goes. Hopefully the 2X a day will work too just takes longer to get there.
i love her so much . I’ve been trying to figure out how I can do three times a day and I think I have a plan . I’ve been doing her treatments at 7 AM and 5 PM but if I bring her in the little crate inside with me at 5:30 when I lock everyone up, I can give her a midnight treatment without having to put on my coat and boots and walk up the hill in the dark cold to the duck house at midnight… and she can still spend all day outside with her friends

Great idea..

i remember i had mentioned that one of my older ducks sounded like she may have the same thing.. well now i’m certain. my golden 300 duck, who is eight years old, and has always been the leader / general of the flock ( perhaps it has stressed her health being the leader, since I have no drake) this morning. I saw and heard her doing the squeaky, cough, raspy breathing sounds.
I want to try to treat her the same way I’m treating Poppy.., but I am concerned it may be very difficult.

i can bring her with poppy inside at sunset but not sure I can do it in one trip , and for one thing I have to be very careful because I have fallen a few times the past couple months since I had my cancer surgery, the ducks are uphill, and it’s still a little muddy so I go very slowly and carefully, but my lower back , and sometimes my knees,, have been hurting on and off , and Not sure I can put the two of them together in the small crate for the treatment may have to do two treatments in a row, which is 30 minutes each bird so a whole hour of sitting with them and watching that the very small nebulizer I got keeps running because it tends to stop every so often. and I have to adjust it. I’m not sure Poppy and flower will get along together. I may have to do them separately. I also have to take care of my elderly mother and my husband is ill. The extra time and effort may be a bit much for me, but I’m going to try. i pray they get well and don’t suffer because i don’t wish to have to cull - since I’ve never had to cull any of my birds, well, except for one rooster 30 years ago, but my husband did that for me. i’d like to get a bigger better nebulizer but hubby has me on a extremely tight budget right now. 🙏🙏🙏
i’ve been reading a through the Bible in one year program and right now I’m in Leviticus in the Old Testament where there’s a lot about the sacrifices of bulls and goats and sheep and birds, and it strikes me that for the birds to kill them, it says “wring off its head, “ just makes me sad even think about stuff like that

edit to add
Do you think flower will stop being mean to Poppy? If just the two of them are spending the night in the room downstairs and all they have is each other?
I was bringing poppy’s best friend with her inside,, (my tiny little willow, the other fawn and white runner) but if I switch to flower, I just pray they get along
