runner duck - cough or hiccups? aspergillosis?

Pics
You have a lot going on right now. Sure wish I was close enough to help with the 2 ducks. You did try just doing above the head spray mist and that did nothing? I wish I could answer if flower would pick on poppy I don’t know but you could maybe keep one crated and then switch them out if need be?

I’ve not used the culling method on any of my waterfowl but have used it on a few chickens that had to be culled I can get you the info but let’s hope it won’t come to that.

This is what I use now I used to have to ask my husband to do the culling but now if needed I can do it. Still not easy by no means to say goodbye but they go to sleep. Ether is what was used to put people to sleep for surgery years ago

This of course is the last resort.

thanks so much. i figured out a way to get them to walk down to the house by themselves ( my dog helped) and now i have the both ducks in the little crate together with the nebulizer running, so far so good!!
it seems like Flower knows she needs the medicine .
i can feel the prayers of friends.

i might even just keep the 2 of them inside for a week so i can get a break from getting up at 1 am to do the 3rd treatment. but idk cuz it’s been so nice outside.

Treatments are moving along smoothly Its been 9 days for poppy and now flower has 3 days done , been doing the 3x a day for the past 4 days and its rough to get up in middle of night but Im doing it and just going to bed earlier
Also giving 1 ml poultry cell every other day to each of them just to try to beef up immune system to fight off the aspergillosis
And I spray-mist over all the other ducks morning and evening too as a preventative.
"One day at a time, sweet Jesus"
