Runner ducks - wondering about genetics for blue and silver

I have a few blue runner girls. Recently, lost my blue male when he got himself tangled in reeds at the edge of the pond and drowned. :-( I may get a young silver male. I didn't even know there was such a color for runners.
Wondering about the genetics of blue and silver and what I might get if I hatch a few eggs next year.

Silver is just two copies of blue So your blue girls bred to a silver drake would result in 50% blue offspring and 50% silver offspring.

You're welcome! And just to be sure, are you in the US? If not, silver might be a different color, since some countries use silver to mean what we call snowy in the US.

Then they probably do mean silver as in two copies of blue Slight chance that they mean it as harlequin aka snowy instead, so if you could get pictures you could make sure.

I don't know much about coloring but the little fellow doesn't look much like a harlequin.Thank you for your help!
