Now that she is eating and has access to food and water continually you may even see a difference in other ways, getting a good balanced diet might even get her voice back if there isn't something going on medical. Does she have drainage from eyes or nares? does her lungs sound normal or raspy when you listen to her breath?

No drainage but I will have to listen closely to her chest next time I’m out there

I’m a teacher so there is no such thing as a silly question! I would think her friend duckling would be ok. They are both going to have it a little rough on re-entry back to the flock but hopefully they will be bigger and more confident. I give my ducklings nutrient (brewer’s) yeast for niacin because I can’t really over dose them. I don’t know that it will help but I don’t think it will hurt either. You just mix a little with their food.
I know more about behavior than food (comes from watching them for hours). I do have a question though-would it be better to buy medicated food? I've seen it at TS, but I always buy regular food. I don't like to medicate unless I have to. Is that wrong? I have had some ducklings I don't think medicine would have helped.

far as I'm aware, ducklings do best on non medicated feed

Everything I’ve researched is to not give ducks medicated because they can over dose on it since they each like they’re on the brink of starvation!
