If you get the big ones about 8 pounds

Not extent but good layers

A cream color to a light brown colored egg

Cold hardy well lets see small comb little waddles well feathered
and used in Siberia so I give that a yes

Emily (my top choice for breeding that just started to lay here recently) was anxious for new hay in the nest box today. I was pouring the feed and got a peck to the rear- turned around to see who tge culprit was and Emily was up the ramp staring at me! Changed her hay before anything else and she went right on in like I was holding her up or something Thought I'd be sneaky and watch her lay from an outside vented corner only to see her settle the hay just right then come across the house. I couldn't see her in the blind spot since I was outside so when she jumped up on the roost and stared me in the face like "privacy please!" it scared me half to death!;-)
