Nope no feathered legs on the little boy either. Hoping that since neither of them have feathered legs Ahole isn't the daddy... Your probably right, it's EE/ something! I guess I might have a better idea when she is mature and laying.

Yeah you need a bachelor pen!

Just some place to put all your extra roos. I've heard if you separate them from the females they fight less.... Dunno if it's true but at least your girls wouldn't get harassed as much!!!

Either that or you just need to start eating more of them... lets start with Ahole!

You need nice roosters like the Ameraucanas. There are SO many good ones!!! They are all amazing, perfect gentlemen and great with the ladies!!!

Have any bearded EE babies you don't want...

So I know that it sounds funny BUT.......when I lived in Monterey Bay, I was introduced to this really nice, older German lady who lived in Hollister and raised chickens. She was pretty darn accurate "needling" eggs and chicks! ! ! ! No joke! It was cool to watch.

I cant remember exactly how it worked.....if the needle swung side to side it was male and if it went around in a circle it was a female??????

Yep! He lives up to his name. Trust me. He was my favorite and the reason I wanted to buy a bigger place that allowed roos. Then he tries to dominate me. I have kicked and done everything I can with him and he still attacks me. He will have to be done away with but I am so attached to him. I have been hoping he just drops dead. Maybe I coddled him too much. Hard to say now.

There are way too many nice roos and I do not need to deal with Ahole.

Nancy hold him down and pull out his tail feathers at the same time. I know it sounds drastic but he is just one step away from the freezer.
