Well, there are SIX!

I do not remember what eggs I let her have; I do see some brown and green or blue shells. (At the very least, they're all EEs. One of two may be pure Am.) I'm going to get them a new box set up today, so hopefully I can get a better look. Amelie was very accomodating by hopping out so I could see all of them...

But way more frustrating than water-to-be boiled or drying paint. Because newly hatched chicks are so much more awesome than noodles or dry paint. Pip little chickens pip!!!
I agree chicks are way more awesome than dry paint, but let's not be too hasty dissing noodles... if i had to give up pasta or pet chickens... oh dear....

One of my mini rex does (female rabbit) kindled today! 4 cute babies, though one is very small and I'll have to keep an eye on it. Very excited and can't wait to see how they turn out. (Fingers crossed for good show prospects)

On another note, am I the only one who gets sick of all the nasty political talk on their facebook page? I am getting pretty tired of it and kind of wish I didn't have fb sometimes... the things you find out about your friends and relatives.... what they really think and how nasty people can be (like high school again). I want people to be able to say what they want to say and not remove it or them from my friend list, but it gets hard when you have cousins saying that "people who think this are evil or are stupid (and you are one of the people she is talking about, whether she knows it or not) for example. Sorry - Mini-rant. LOL

Thats kind of how I am feeling.... My actual friends and immediate family, I already know what they are doing, so I don't need fb for that. Some of my distant relatives are on thier, but they and some of then and thier friends say things that I am tired of overlooking. I try to ignore the stuff they say, but i just cannot believe how insensative or rude they are - or just how much info they give, that I don't want to know. For example, they post a lot of political stuff, but a lot of it, is waaayyyy out there, I mean, to me its either very insulting to certain groups of people (political groups, gays, minorities, etc) or borders on hate speech or hate rhetoric that really bothers me. I usually never say anything about it, and some of it is ridiculous and I can laugh... but other times I wonder what they are thinking. I would never post things about groups they belong to like this: "All (fill in blank with a group I am often in, like democrats) are idiots and are trying to destroy america. They should have thier voting rights taken away and be jailed for treason". I mean, how can they not be concerned that they may be alienating others, particularly thier own relatives? I would never post something on fb that I thought could be hurtful or deragatory.... and I am sick of fb because everyone else on thier just wants a stage to rant and lord over other people it seems.

PS I will post pics of the babies when I can - I don't want to bother them when they are so new. (Actually I do want to bother them, but I am controlling the urge to play with bunnies.) lol

Oh, I can totally relate to this, and I'm afraid it's only going to get worse as we approach November. To me the worst thing about it is how so many people are buying into this extreme stuff, in either direction. Why can't people just dislike a particular politician's actions or policies, without insinuating that he or she is the anti-Christ, or trying to destroy America? Culture of fear. Such a waste of energy, and disturbing to see how many people are stooping to this kind of thinking, and the resulting hysteria.

On the other hand, I've reconnected with some childhood friends I woud NEVER have found, or been found by, via FB. So this might be a bit time-consuming, but one thing you can do is click on the upper right corner of an offensive post, and choose the option to "hide" that story. It also gives you the options of unsubscribing from that particular poster, or to only see important posts (not sure how they determine that). That person will not be notified, and you can still look at their page if you like, but their stuff won't pop up on your page all the time.

Congrats!! They are adorable!!
