Hey Tiger,
just wanted to give you an update. Abby laid only one more egg since I gave her the surrogate eggs. I just candled one again tonight and can see the veins so they are definately cooking! She is sitting on them pretty well except the past couple of days because she got so overheated. Although, I'm sure with the heat wave mother nature is doing all the work.

Oh that's great to hear! Just be sure to keep her food and water close so she doesn't leave them too long, especially if they are in the sun the heat can wipe them out. My duck's eggs are always super fertile and survive some pretty extreme weather though, I bet it will go well for Abby.If she doesn't get her body wet every so often you may need to mist the eggs once in a while if the weather stays really hot and dry.
