Sapphire Gem

Is anyone familiar with the sexlink Sapphire Gem. What are the attributes, egg laying, lifespan, drawbacks, temperament?

I was at a local feed store and saw some in their bins, but seems like there’s not much information about them except their beautiful grayish blue chicks originated from Czech Republic. Anyone have experience with them? I was so tempted to buy some but restrained myself when I came back few days later they were all gone.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first year that they have been widely available. Experience with them may be limited. They look and sound like an interesting breed.

Seems like in some of your photos there’s some gold/yellow feathers underneath those chicks are those common? Or was that from lighting?

I Just rechecked my photos, mine has some hint of the same colors,
kind of interesting.

Jewel did have the yellow more prominently on her. Riya not as much. Man, I still have to get some updated pics of them. They're blue all the way around now showing no signs on witr belly or anything like that so I don't know.
